Wedding Music Blog: Our String Quartet at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills
Getting married on a beautiful summer day surrounded by spectacular views of Los Angeles with a string quartet seems like a scene straight out of a movie; but for Calvin and Stephanie, this was their wedding day. The beautiful couple chose to exchange their vows at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, a popular location for Hollywood movies. Here, they were surrounded by picturesque gardens and sprawling views of the city.
Concert-like Performance from the Wedding String Quartet
Their guests were treated to a “mini music concert” at the wedding location in Greystone Mansion. Our Los Angeles based string quartet led by founder Art Ocdamia played beautifully before the ceremony even started. The couple handpicked the songs from the Ocdamia Music Group string playlist, with over 1000+ songs to choose from. A wonderful mix of classical and contemporary music were played by the wedding musicians. The songs included were Vivaldi’s “Spring”, Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years”, and John Legend’s heart wrenching “All of Me”.
A beautiful rendition of Canon in D was played while the bridal party, the officiant, and the groom walked during the processional. When the time has come for the bride to walk down the aisle, Beyonce’s “Halo”, the bride’s personal favorite, was played sweetly as the she made her way to meet her groom. It was a touching moment. To cap off the ceremony, the bridal party danced along to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” during the recessional.
All in all, it was an incredible occasion reminiscent of the old Hollywood glamour. And no, these weddings don’t happen only in the movies. We can help you make your wedding an equally memorable one.
