Ole Hanson

Description: Ole Hanson Beach Club is a Spanish-Revival-Style wedding venue located adjacent to the San Clemente coast, with a sweeping front lawn for ceremonies and a private upstairs patio for the reception and cocktail hour. The ocean view at Ole is framed by classic Southern California palm trees which frame a gorgeous sunset every night. Our clients love Ole for its beach views, landscaping, and unique terra cotta and adobe style building. It really is a one of a kind historical building set in a beautiful location; the perfect backdrop for a String Quartet.

Location: All ceremonies take place on the Grand Lawn, visible from the front entrance of the venue. Cocktail hour and reception are held upstairs on the second level in one of the three patio spaces, two outdoor and one indoor in between them. If the ceremony wedding musicians are also playing at reception/cocktail hour, they will need two setups or be prepared to relocate all equipment after the ceremony. The first-floor reception area, the pool deck, and the club room are not part of the event space, so please do all loading through one of the three spaces below.

Load-In: Ceremony wedding musician load-ins are to be done by one of these access points:

• The East Deck tile staircase that goes up to the event space
• Up through the rotunda staircase accessed by the front doors on the south side of the building
• Through the elevator, accessed by the front doors on the south side of the building

Parking: Parking can be found in the small East lot; if you use this lot, please park at the far end so there is enough space for guests (feel free to load-in, then move to the other end of the lot). There is a cul-de-sac on the south side of the property but it is a red curbed street and would be at your own risk. There is metered parking available in the front lot for $1.50 per hour up until 6pm and there is also free parking available in the nearby residential area. Our string quartets love that parking is so close to the ceremony site; you really can?t go wrong, whichever route you choose.

Equipment: Musicians are to bring their own sound equipment, unless it is previously agreed that the DJ will provide for them. There are plentiful electrical outlets and lots of space for a String Quartet to set up and perform. Please remember to ask the client that chairs be provided at setup. If you require an umbrella due to weather conditions, be sure to notify the client ahead of time, as umbrellas are an additional charge.

Liability: All vendors must have current General Liability Insurance coverage of $1,000,000 minimum and be able to provide proof of insurance upon request. If vendors have employees working on/at the event, certificates of insurance for Workman?s Compensation must also be provided upon request.
