Booking and General Policy
EDM means Electronic Dance Music. Electronic Dance Music is a high energy music with a fast rhythm. It is often played at clubs, festivals, or wherever there’s dancing! That includes wedding receptions, and our electric violinist together with a DJ plays along to EDM music!
It really depends on your preference but we recommend that slow songs are played as background music during dinner reception. We also recommend that fast songs are played at the beginning of the program and during the dance kick-off.
Yes, violinists, often electric violinists, play together with a DJ. Together, they play pop songs, rock songs, electronic dance music, and many others. Our violinist with DJ in Los Angeles gives and amazing performance, playing EDM hits and popular songs!
A wedding reception playlist depends on your preference. We do recommend 3 sets of music, one played at the beginning of the program, one during dinner reception, and the last set during dance kick-off. A set usually lasts for 45 minutes, or around 15 songs.

Please Provide Shade/Umbrella
- We require a shade/umbrella for our musicians, instruments, and audio equipment. This is due to the extreme sensitivity of musical instruments to changes in temperature and exposure to sunlight and humidity. In some cases exposure to elements may lead to irreparable damage to the instruments.
Please Prepare a Covered/Dry Location in Case of Rain
- We require a covered/dry location for our musicians, instruments, and audio equipment in case of rain. Exposure to water or humidity is damaging to our musical instruments and audio equipment. In some cases exposure to elements may lead to irreparable damage to the instruments.Â
- We love playing outdoors but in lower temperatures please provide a heater for our musicians. Our musicians remain outdoors for more than an hour with an additional hour to set up before the appointment. The heater will keep them warm before and during their performance.Â

Words cannot express how thankful we are to Margie at OMG Ocdamia Music Group and the musicians she provided for our wedding. Our guests are still raving about the hip hop violinist (Yennie) and how incredibly entertaining and passionate she was. The string duo was fantastic and added a very special and memorable touch to our wedding. Margie is one of the most responsive vendors I have ever worked with and that was a big reason we chose her for our special day. She has processes already in place to organize all of the music and communicate timeline and what you want. She kept me on track and was proactive, and we all know that is a huge relief to a bride planning her wedding. If you invest in one thing for your wedding or event, I highly recommend you invest in a string duo, hip hop violinist, and/or whatever Margie recommends. This was a flawless experience and added the wow factor we were looking for!

Our wedding was just this weekend and we had Yennie and Jose playing for us. We provided a playlist sample of the kind of music we wanted for cocktail hour and for dinner and OMG selected a set of music exactly to our taste. It was class and beautiful. Later Yennie perform for us at the dance and she was so incredible energetic and brought everyone to their feet. We had so many people asking us for contact info for OMG and specifically for Yennie. Thank you so much for making our event an amazing success!

I attended a wedding in Michigan and one of the performers was Yennie, a violinist from Ocdamia. She performed at the cocktail hour as well as the wedding reception. The other guests told me that she was impressive because she played Indian music (this was an Indian wedding) on her violin. I was just impressed by her playing.
Later, we were able to chat with her and find out that she travels around to perform at various weddings and events. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for musical talent at your event. It was mesmerizing to watch Yennie.
