About Kinship Collective
Brandijo is a talented musician who gained early recognition as a child prodigy. Starting at the age of 7, she captivated audiences with her remarkable singing abilities, performing in gigs and showcasing her talent. From Costa Mesa, she garnered national acclaim for her impressive performances on America’s Most Talented Kids and the Gong Show. Her musical journey started at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), where she cultivated her skills and developed a deep passion for music. She pursued her musical education further, earning a degree in musical theater from Vanguard University.
Brandijo’s musical horizons expanded when she teamed up with Lyle, whom she encountered while performing on a worship team. Their mutual love for music sparked the creation of original compositions, drawing the attention of esteemed artists such as Lisa Loeb, O-Town, John Waite, Oingo Boingo, and War. As a result, they were invited to open for these notable acts.
As a child, Lyle found inspiration in his cousin Mathias, the group’s violinist and percussionist. This early influence fueled his dedication to music, leading him to refine his skills and pursue his craft at the renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood. His exceptional talent attracted the attention of respected artists such as Faith Evans, Marques Houston, Common Kings, Timothy Bloom, and V. Bozeman, culminating in fruitful collaborations.
In addition to his performances, Lyle produces Brandijo’s music, infusing it with captivating and unique soundscapes. They have also ventured into creating music for TV shows on networks like NBC, Hallmark, and Sky TV. Their creative partnership blossomed into a personal one as Lyle and Brandijo eventually married.
Mathias, a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, has made a name for himself as a music arranger, composer, music editor, producer, and performer. He has received accolades from esteemed artists like Dave Matthews, Alan Jackson, James Taylor, Toby Keith, and Sara Evans. Mathias has had the opportunity to open for notable acts such as The L.A. Lakers, Hal Ketchum, Asleep at the Wheel, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Glen Campbell, Sarah Buxton, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Clint Black, and The Mavericks.
Together, Brandijo, Lyle, and Mathias form a powerful trio, blending their individual talents and experiences to create captivating and dynamic music. As family members, they find immense joy in pursuing their passion and sharing their love for music with audiences. Booking and General Policy
- Get in touch with us via email, phone, or chat with us on our website to set an appointment.
- Choose a musician, group, or package and ask for a draft contract. For ceremony & cocktail bookings, you may opt to book online through our interactive tool. Refer to our calendar to check for an available slot for your event date.
- Secure the date by depositing a down payment of 25% through our interactive tool and pay via credit card, venmo, paypal, or send us a check.
Your booking is automatically confirmed upon receipt of the deposit OR signed contract!
Please note: If we don’t receive the signed contract OR the required deposit within 7 days from the date of the contract, we will need to re-confirm the artist(s) availability again.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a username and password to access our portal. You may now create your custom wedding playlist via our interactive portal.
Please use our interactive tool to choose among thousands of songs in our playlist. There you can choose songs for your ceremony and cocktail hour.Â

We understand that at times, the unexpected happens. Our policy on cancellations are written below:
- For cancellations 30 days before the event, you will receive a 100% refund of the deposit amount.
- For cancellations less than 30 days before the event, the deposit is non-refundable.
Please Provide Shade/Umbrella
- We require a shade/umbrella for our musicians, instruments, and audio equipment. This is due to the extreme sensitivity of musical instruments to changes in temperature and exposure to sunlight and humidity. In some cases exposure to elements may lead to irreparable damage to the instruments.
Please Prepare a Covered/Dry Location in Case of Rain
- We require a covered/dry location for our musicians, instruments, and audio equipment in case of rain. Exposure to water or humidity is damaging to our musical instruments and audio equipment. In some cases exposure to elements may lead to irreparable damage to the instruments.Â
- We love playing outdoors but in lower temperatures please provide a heater for our musicians. Our musicians remain outdoors for more than an hour with an additional hour to set up before the appointment. The heater will keep them warm before and during their performance.Â
Kinship Collective is a family trio consisting of Brandijo (vocals), Lyle (guitar), and Mathias (violin and percussion). They blend their individual talents and experiences to create captivating and dynamic music.
