About Alex
Alex is a cellist from Los Angeles, CA, known for his distinctive sound and unconventional way of playing and performing. He began cello at the age of four, immediately knowing that the cello was his future. Growing up almost exclusively playing classical music, Alex always knew that he wanted to do something completely different – so at the age of 14 he produced and mixed his first cover song. From then on he began to play around with different sounds and different ways of playing. Throughout the years he has had the awesome opportunity of performing in all kinds of settings, most notably performing at the Los Angeles’Â Walt Disney Concert Hall, Detroit’s Orchestra Hall, amongst many others, both nationally and internationally. As a studio musician, the most recent project he has worked on is currently featured in the Frozen Disney Show on Disney Cruises.Â
Upon the arrival of 2020, he decided to take a break from performing for a year and focus on graduating from college, completing his undergraduate program at Berklee College of Music. In January of 2023, Alex decided to revamp himself, completely straying from Classical music and began a project including Pop, R&B, Soul, and Jazz, amongst other genres. His current project is an hour-long, 20-song set that covers the past 7 years of his life, taking you through many eras such as love, heartbreak, infidelity, etc. His first single, Back To Black has been released on all platforms, with an anticipated album drop in Winter of 2024.

Booking and General Policy
- Get in touch with us via email, phone, or chat with us on our website to set an appointment.
- Choose a musician, group, or package and ask for a draft contract. For ceremony & cocktail bookings, you may opt to book online through our interactive tool. Refer to our calendar to check for an available slot for your event date.
- Secure the date by depositing a down payment of 25% through our interactive tool and pay via credit card, venmo, paypal, or send us a check.
Your booking is automatically confirmed upon receipt of the deposit OR signed contract!
Please note: If we don’t receive the signed contract OR the required deposit within 7 days from the date of the contract, we will need to re-confirm the artist(s) availability again.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a username and password to access our portal. You may now create your custom wedding playlist via our interactive portal.
Please use our interactive tool to choose among thousands of songs in our playlist. There you can choose songs for your ceremony and cocktail hour.Â

We understand that at times, the unexpected happens. Our policy on cancellations are written below:
- For cancellations 30 days before the event, you will receive a 100% refund of the deposit amount.
- For cancellations less than 30 days before the event, the deposit is non-refundable.
Please Provide Shade/Umbrella
- We require a shade/umbrella for our musicians, instruments, and audio equipment. This is due to the extreme sensitivity of musical instruments to changes in temperature and exposure to sunlight and humidity. In some cases exposure to elements may lead to irreparable damage to the instruments.
Please Prepare a Covered/Dry Location in Case of Rain
- We require a covered/dry location for our musicians, instruments, and audio equipment in case of rain. Exposure to water or humidity is damaging to our musical instruments and audio equipment. In some cases exposure to elements may lead to irreparable damage to the instruments.Â
- We love playing outdoors but in lower temperatures please provide a heater for our musicians. Our musicians remain outdoors for more than an hour with an additional hour to set up before the appointment. The heater will keep them warm before and during their performance.Â
Search online for cello players in your area like Ocdamia Music Group. Some cellist can travel to different locations. Alex is the best cellist in the Los Angeles area, but if you want him to travel to San Diego, he can do it as well. You can also search for “cello players near me” on Google.
A cello is a wood string instrument sometimes called a violincello that is bowed, sometimes plucked and occasionally hit. It has four strings and can be played while standing up or sitting down. A cello player is called a cellist.
Usually yes, but some professional musicians and artists prefer to stay closer to their home. We will be happy to answer that question when you ask about a particular artist. Alex can travel in any part of Southern California, including out of States.
We get that question a lot and we certainly understand why it is asked. It is very rare that the professional musician, wedding band or string musicians you book with OMG will not show up on your wedding day. We have a system in place to confirm a week before the wedding date and again the day before and the day of.
But really, the probability is quite low because of who we offer, the professional musicians in our network have a track record of reliability, exceptional musical talent with long histories of performing, usually music degrees, and a genuine desire to provide high-quality customer service for your big day.
That being said, it is possible an artist can get sick or have some other emergency, because we have such an extensive network, the arrangement will be made in advance to make sure another artist will be there to provide the same quality entertainment. We’ve never not been able to provide a replacement and have quite a list of wonderful artists of similar style and quality that would be happy to step up and assist in that situation.
